Thing 20: Professional Social Networks

I realised that LinkedIn is very popular in Europe, and it becomes more noticed in my home country as well. I have a LinkedIn account but only go check it from time to time, particularly when I need to look for a job again. šŸ˜€

It took certain effort to maintain and manage LinkedIn well, and I am still finding my way to develop my professional presence and voice. I have been trying to grow my network any chance I have when networking and I believe that LinkedIn, as Facebook, is one of the necessities to present myself to the world now. And it definitely could be beneficial for my professional development because not only can I grow my network via LinkedIn, I also can show potential employers or colleagues what kind of person I am, compared to theĀ traditionalĀ CV where I can only demonstrate limited traits or personal values.
